Embiid scores 33 as 76ers take 3-2 lead with big Game 5 win over Celtics

Joel Embiid scored 33 points and the Philadelphia 76ers easily took a 3-2 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals, beating the Boston Celtics 115-103 on Tuesday night.

Toronto Raptors forward O.G. Anunoby has been named to the NBA all-defensive second team.

Anunoby averaged 16.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and career highs in both steals (1.91) and blocks (0.75), in 67 games this season. He led the NBA in steals per game and total steals (128), becoming the first Raptor to achieve either feat.

Toronto also led the NBA in steals per game with 9.4. The closest teams were New Orleans and Memphis at 8.3.

The six-foot-seven, 232-pound Anunoby received 14 first-team votes and 53 second-team votes.

He is joined by Memphis guard Dillon Brooks of Mississauga, Ont., Boston guard Derrick White, Golden State forward Draymond Green and Miami centre Bam Adebayo.

The NBA All-Defensive Teams were selected by a global panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters. 

Players were awarded two points for each First Team vote and one point for each Second Team vote. Voters selected two guards, two forwards and one centre for each team, choosing players at the position they play regularly.
